Half of us ride with under-inflated tires. It’s all overconsumption drivers, wear their tires faster and risk the accident.
Since the entry into force of the Tread Act in October 2005 following the FORD / FIRESTONE case, pressure sensors are mandatory in the United States on all new vehicles with a total permissible weight of less than 4.5 tonnes . France now imposes them on all new vehicles counted from November 1, 2014.

It meets an ever-increasing need for safety on the roads by constantly measuring the pressure and temperature of the tires. It informs the pilot in real time of a slow leak, a damage or a puncture. The pilot is alerted via a light information (flashing led) and can react before reaching a critical situation.
A correct pressure of +/- 20% reduces the lifespan of your tires by one third. Safety (handling and braking) as well as comfort (vibration, noise flexibility) are largely a function of inflation. Poor inflation significantly increases the risk of accidents.
Driving with underinflated tires increases the rolling resistance of the tire. The direct consequence is higher fuel consumption and therefore an increase in the fuel budget (up to 8%). In addition, the indirect effect is increased releases to the atmosphere

TIRE WATCH ™ for cars consists of 4 sensors (transmitter) fixed on the rim in place of the existing valve and a display (receiver). These sensors are from the 1st monte and manufactured more than 4 million per year.
Each element runs on battery which facilitates the assembly – no connection to existing wiring.
The sensors continuously measure the pressure and temperature of each tire and transmit them every minute to the display (receiver). As soon as an anomaly is detected, the alert is immediate.
You can set your warning thresholds in pressure and temperature depending on the type of trip, the outside temperature or the load of the vee.
